The Medical Faculty of the Friedrich-Alexander University and Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Alexiou were successful in a competitive selection process for the W3 endowed professorship for nanomedicine of the Else Kröner-Fresenius-Foundation. Prof. Dr. med. Christoph Alexiou has now held this position since July 1, 2009 at the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic, Head and Neck Surgery of the University Hospital Erlangen. In this function he works clinically-surgically as a senior physician in the ENT clinic as well as the head of SEON.
